Caraorman is a fishing village on one of the Delta's marine ridges, a wave of sand raised above the water. We get there by boat along the Sulina branch and the Crișan channel, then continue on land along the Reserve's tourist route to Caraorman Forest.
The forest has oaks several hundred years old, with lianas climbing their trunks, surrounded by wind-blown sand dunes. The best-known tree is the centuries-old oak the locals call „Cățeaua”, its branches bent down to the ground. The exact route, duration and price are agreed with our dispatch office.

We set the price with you by phone, based on the route, duration and number of people. Call us and we will tell you straight away.
Departure from Tulcea in the covered boat follows the old website's day trips from Tulcea (to Mila 23, Crișan, Letea, Sulina); Caraorman was not listed there as a separate tour. Duration, price and the land transfer are agreed with our dispatch office.
