Privacy policy

This policy explains which personal data we process when you visit the Excursii Delta Dunării website (www.excursii-delta-dunarii.ro) or call us to book, why we process it and what your rights are under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

Who we are

The data controller is SC Travel Delta Star SRL, VAT no. RO33982696, Trade Register no. J36/12/16.01.2015, registered at Strada a II-a nr. 282, Sulina, Tulcea County, Romania. You can write to contact@traveldeltastar.ro or call 0752 917 592.

What we process and why

Phone bookings

The website has no forms and sends no emails. When you call to book, we note your name, phone number, the date, the tour or boat, the number of people and the departure point. We use them to provide the tour or rental you asked for (legal basis: performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and for the accounting records required by law (Art. 6(1)(c)). For a self-drive boat rental we also need the details from your ID and boating licence for the rental contract.

Visit statistics (Google Analytics)

Only if you agree in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 to see how the website is used (pages visited, device type, country, how you found us). The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time from “Cookie settings” in the page footer. Without consent no Google script is loaded. Server logs

The server hosting the website automatically logs, for every request, the IP address, date and time, the page requested and the browser. We use them only for security and troubleshooting (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f)) and keep them for no more than 6 months.

Who we share data with

  • our web hosting provider, which processes the server logs on our behalf;
  • Google Ireland Limited, for statistics, only with your consent; Google may transfer data to the USA under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework;
  • public authorities, only when the law requires it.

We do not sell data and do not use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

  • booking details: for the duration of the tour or rental, then as long as accounting and tax law requires;
  • Google Analytics statistics: up to 14 months;
  • server logs: up to 6 months.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict processing, to data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. You can withdraw your consent to statistics at any time. For any request, write to contact@traveldeltastar.ro; we reply within one month.

If you believe your rights have been breached, you can complain to the Romanian data protection authority (ANSPDCP), www.dataprotection.ro, or to the authority in your own EU country.

This website links to other websites (Travel Delta Star, Transport Tulcea – Sulina, Facebook, YouTube, ANPC). Each has its own privacy policy.

If we change this policy, we publish the new version here with its update date.
